Rosa Luz Corrales,
born in Arequipa city, has shown the
world for over twenty years the exquisite artistry of
her embroidery, shaping each work of art into an artifact
of Peruvian life.
All
of her products are hand-embroidered using all natural
colored, undyed sheep wool on a background of pure wool
Bayeta fabric, in the traditional style of Peruvian
embroidery.
Rosa uses only the finest quality materials to
create a wide variety of useful household products such
as seat cushions, wall hangings and other
practical items such as back-packs.
In Rosa's words:
