Martha
Supo Mamani
"An Artist of Fabric Painting" is the
title her friends and relatives have bestowed upon her, and
it's one that's richly deserved. Martha was born in
Arequipa City. She began to develop her talents in the art of fabric
painting at a very young age, when she began creating and designing
small items that she sold only to her closest friends. This
early experience gave Martha confidence, and she began to grow
rapidly in her skills as an artist.
Before long,
Martha realized that her reputation was spreading far and wide,
and she was encouraged to show her work at
exhibitions.
Soon, Martha decided to start her own
factory, which she currently shares with several other artists.
Martha and
her coworkers regularly participate
in fairs and expositions worldwide, and their work
has attracted a great deal of praise and
recognition.
