Peru ranks second worldwide in the
production of silver. Peruvian expertise in the creation of
silver jewelry and art stretches all the way back
to the Pre-Incan era, yet incorporating all the latest
technology. Peruvian artists use traditional techniques
such as hand hammering, piercing, and embossing, often
incorporating precious and semi-precious stones and gems
that are native to Peru, including turquoise, onyx,
opal and spondylus, which is the name of the popular red shell
used in many beautiful jewelry designs.
All the pieces that we displayed are
handmade in silver of 950k, out of a maximum value
of 1000K.
