1. Who is El Misti USA,
LLC?
El Misti is an American company
that was created to bring exciting Peruvian products to the
world while sharing a taste of Peru's rich,
illustrious history through the handiwork of our expert
local artisans. We have carefully selected each product shown
on our site, and work directly with our artisans and hand crafters.
Their exquisite work exemplifies their rich cultural
heritage through their exlusive designs that are not
available anywhere else. The products on our website have been
created using traditional techniques handed down through
countless generations. Many of the folkloric designs depict
traditional scenes, pastimes and occupations of the local
peoples.
2. Where is
El Misti USA located?
El Misti USA has two offices.
Our headquarters are located in New Jersey in the USA. We
also are located in Arequipa, Peru, in South
America.
3. Are my purchases secure on
www.elmisti.biz?
Yes, all of your information is
secure. Your credit card numbers are not stored, therefore they can
not be utilized by anyone else. El Misti USA, LLC, will not
sell customer information or mailing lists to other
parties.
4. Can I make
purchases with checks, electronic transfers, money
orders or debit cards?
We do not accept checks or
electronic transfers. We are happy to accept Debit and Credit card
orders.
5. Which credit cards does El
Misti USA accept?
We accept both
Visa and Master Card.
6. When will my purchases be
charged to my credit or debit card
account?
Your credit card will be
charged when your order is placed. At that time, you will receive an
e-mail confirmation that your account has been charged for your
order.
7. After I place my order, when will I receive
it?
Delivery of your order depends
on the items you have ordered. Almost all of our beautiful
products are handmade and many are made to order. This means it may
take extra time for your items to be created specially for you. You
will be notified via email when your order is ready to ship.

What happens to orders placed
on weekends?
Orders placed over weekends will not be
processed until Monday.
9. Is shipping
included in the price?
Shipping is extra and is
not included in the price of the
item.
10. What happens if I do not
receive my order?
In the unlikely event that you
do not receive your order, please contact us at customerservices@elmisti.biz. Please provide name, your
address and your order number when contacting us about
your order. We will respond within two business
days.
11. What if my order is
incomplete?
Because some items may take
longer than others to be handcrafted, your order will not be shipped
until complete. However, in the unlikely event that your
order arrives incomplete, please contact us at customerservices@elmisti.biz. Please provide your name, address and order
number in your message, as well as the item number of the missing
part of your order. We will respond to your email within two
business days.
12. Will individual items be shipped
separately?
Individual items will
not be shipped until your
order is complete. However, if you would
prefer not to wait, please contact us at customerservices@elmisti.biz and
we will send your order in separate shipments. Note that in
such cases, additional shipping charges will apply.
13. What happens if an item
in my order arrives
damaged?
In the unlikely event that an
item in your shipment arrives damaged, please contact us at
customerservices@elmisti.biz. Please provide your name, address and order
number. We will issue a return authorization and instructions for
returning the item to El Misti. Upon receipt of the damaged
item, we will replace it at no cost.
14. What happens if I receive
the wrong product?
In the unlikely event that you
receive the wrong item in your order, please contact us at
customerservices@elmisti.biz. Please provide your name, address and
order number, as well as the item number for the product you
ordered. We will respond within two business days and issue a return
authorization and instructions on returning the item to El
Misti. Upon receipt of the item, El Misti will ship the
correct item to you at no cost.
15. Can I cancel my
order?
You may cancel your order
within 72 hours after placing it.
